| The
homecoming parade will be Thursday Sept 26th at 6:30 p.m.
Line-up will begin at 5:00 p.m. at the high school. Do not
bring your vehicle/float to the HS before 3:30 p.m. We need
to have time to clear all HS students' and faculty's vehicles
from the parking lot before we start lining up floats. All
parade participants must line up at the HS. When you get
to the parade line-up please don't leave any float/vehicle
unattended until you have been told where to park. All vehicles/floats
participating in the parade need to pull forward as far
as they can in the line-up. There will be no specific order
with the exception of the band and the royalty. If you want
to be next to a specific group then you need to arrive at
the same time. It will not be possible to save a place in
line for anyone. Vehicles not driving in the parade will
need to park in a parking space in the HS parking lot but
not in any space adjacent to the building. As always, no
4-wheelers, go-karts, motorcycles, etc. will be allowed.
All drivers must be adults. (No current HS student will
be allowed to drive regardless of their age) Floats will
need to have adults riding on them supervising the children.
Candy may be gently tossed to spectators from the floats.
The parade is a school sponsored activity so any misbehavior
could result in disciplinary action by the school and/or
local law enforcement. |
