| The 2019 Collinsville High School marching band started their (summer) morning practices at Sallee Field Monday (July 25th) ... pretty much as they have since Sallee Field opened in 1949 (70 years ago) and afternoon practices at the soon to be "old" band room at the Middle School since 1979 (40 years ago). If all goes well this week, they hope to be moving into their brand new band room at the high school later this week. A new asphalt practice area adjacent to the new band room is also in the works but not yet completed. | ||||

| The drum line is used to practicing both indoors and outdoors (on the asphalt) at the Middle School but they will give up the shade trees when they move to the new high school location. | ||||
