Cameron Steed won the 106 lb 5A East regional crown (at Skiatook) with a 16-1 win over Brody Gee from Coweta. He takes a 34-4 record to the state tournament next week. | |||||||||
Jordan Williams pinned Jaydale Whitlock (from Grove) for the 113 lb regional title. Jordan takes a perfect 40-0 record to state. | |||||||||
Rocky Stephens won the 120 lb regional title with a 1-0 decision over Kaden Stanley (from Claremore). Rocky heads to state with a 31-4 record. | |||||||||
Jordan Cullors trailed 0-1 with only 13 seconds remaining but pulled off an amazing flurry for a last second takedown and a 2-1 win for the 126 lb regional title. He beat Josh Taylor from Skiatook. Jordon is 17-6 on the season heading to the state tournament. | |||||||||
Caleb Tanner pinned Cody Francis (from Skiatook) for the 132 lb regional title. Caleb takes a 39-4 record to state. | |||||||||
Connor Henson pinned Gage Gates (from Grove) for the 138 lb regional title. Connor is 37-9 on his way to state. | |||||||||
Wyatt Hartley won 3rd place with a 1-0 decision over Colin Elias (from Bishop Kelley). Wyatt is 33-16 and will face Jacob Catagas (22-3) from El Reno at the state tournament. | |||||||||
Jeran Seabolt placed 3rd at 152 lbs with a 9-3 decision over Sam Sheerer (from Pryor). Jeran takes a 12-5 record to state where he drew Cole Thomas (from El Reno) who has a 28-3 record. | |||||||||
Zach Morris got pinned in the 220 lb 5th place regional match, just missing a trip to state. | |||||||||
Kaden Jones lost 1-2 in overtime in the heavyweight 5th place match Saturday evening, barely missing out on a state trip. | |||||||||
Skiatook took first at 152, 160, 170, 195 and 220 and outscored Collinsville for the regional team title. | |||||||||
