| Train Mystery?

| It sounded
like a derailment about 6:30pm in Collinsville and the train is
stopped ... but no obvious sign of problem. Crossing blocked on

| I still don't
have any solid info ... but was outside in my yard just a few blocks
from the train tracks when I heard a loud metal sounding crash ...
which may have just been the cars slamming into each other as the
train stopped quickly? I went to a spot on South 12th Street (close
to the tracks) and could not find any set of wheel not on the track
looking back to the crossing by Faith Fellowhip Church or the other
direction towards Main (above). And I heard the train finally pull
away from Collinsville less than an hour later. -- Ted Wright |
