The
2nd and 3rd grade Gifted and Talented students just finished up
their unit on Financial Literacy, with the help of Junior Achievement
and Valley National Bank. Thank you to Valley National Bank for
the tour of the bank, goodie bags including a dollar coin, popcorn
and a cup of candy. We also enjoyed an educational tour of downtown
Collinsville. Kelsey Kothe, from Valley National bank was our tour
guide and shared many interesting facts about the banking industry
and the town of Collinsville. We finished up our tour with the purchase
of some sweet treats from The Cake Lady Bakery downtown Cville.
