Timmy Caputo signed to continue his band career with NSU at Tahlequah. He was joined by his parents, siblings and NSU Band Director Dr.James Adams in this photo.

The other 2017 CCC Band Seniors and his CHS/NSU band directors joined in this photo for Tim Caputo's signing held at the Middle School Library (next door to the bandroom). All the other CCC band students are show in the photo at the top of the page.

Dr. James Adams (Director of NSU Bands) directed the morning practice of the Collinsville HS band (while in town for Tim Caputo's signing). Collinsville band director Rod Mackey got to sit back and enjoy. -- NSU Band Link

Ted Wright Note: I'm not aware of any other CHS "formal" signing for a college band scholarship in my 14+ years doing this cvilleok web site ... but know there have been many other Collinsville band students who have gone on to play in college bands. Just from my family I had an uncle in the OU band (Bill-1940s), a sister in NSU band (Mary-1950s) and another sister in the OSU band (Jane-1960s). And more recently Chritsine Blue and Emily Fuller are now HS band directors ... plus likely others I'm forgetting.
