| Something to be
excited about! This past Saturday, our high school National Honor Society chapter teamed up with Oologah to host a prom for The Highlands at Owasso nursing home. The event was used as our second semester community project. Throughout the event, it was evident that this prom wasn’t about the food, door prizes, dancing, or even boutonnieres and corsages, but the company and conversation our students provided. Our students exhibited pure kindness towards this special group of people referred to as “neighbors.” In all my years of being an educator, I don’t think I’ve ever been so proud of a group of students. They went above and beyond and represented C.H.S. very well. This was just another reminder that we have a lot to be excited about when it comes to our future young people! Coach Dutton |
