CARDINAL FOOTBALL --
Jr. High Update (Glenpool)
Here Oct. 6th, 2016

The Glenpool Warriors traveled to Sallee Field Thursday night to take on the Collinsville Cardinals in a Metro Lakes Conference match-up. The Warriors are the newest member in the 5A conference, which many consider to be the toughest 5A junior high conference in Oklahoma. Glenpool has an excellent football program from top to bottom, their players play with class and their coach’s coach with class. All three games of the night were full of big hits and just plain smash mouth football. The Cardinals continue to show improvement in all phases of the game.

7th grade Cardinals win 16-8.
No injuries to report.

8th grade Cardinals win 30-20.
No injuries to report.

9th grade Cardinals win 26-14.
No injuries to report.

Next week the Cardinals do not play. Our next game will be October 18th. We will host the Tahlequah Tigers. Games will begin at 5pm. The Tigers are a much improved program. They have hired a full time Sports Enhancement Director to train and condition their athletes.
Hope to see and hear the Cardinal Family at Sallee Field with your positive support and sportsmanship. We have so much to be thankful for.

“No One Fights Alone, We Fight With Daniel.” Daniel Malon a freshman student athlete for the Cardinals is suffering from acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Please keep Daniel in your prayers and look for updates on the Collinsville QB Club Facebook page or Daniel’s Trek on Facebook.
