Doubles Qualified
Regionals At Cascia Hall

Girls Tennis -- We just had our Girls Regionals at Cascia Hall yesterday (May 2nd). and 4 of our 6 players qualified for state! It was a great day to be a Cardinal!

#1 Doubles, Laishen Her and Cori Ingram, along with #2 Doubles, Payton Benham and Ravyn Murphy all qualified for state by placing 4th. Our two singles players, Allie Dugger and Becky Smith barely missed qualifying, but did excellent. Both got 5th. With 3 private schools being at this regional competition, the level of play the Cardinal tennis team put forth was outstanding! I am so proud of each one of them!

State Tennis Results
During the past two months, I have been spent my time coaching some amazing tennis players. I would like to recognize 4 of those players, Cori Ingram, Laishen Her, Payton Benham, and Ravyn Murphy. These 4 players worked hard all season, and as a result, qualified for the state tennis tournament in Oklahoma City two weeks ago. Only the top 16 players (in their division) qualify for state. For Collinsville, Ingram and Her qualified at #1 Doubles, while Benham and Murphy qualified at #2 Doubles. Although Ingram and Her did not place, Benham and Murphy tied for 9th place. The level of competition these players where up against is testimony to how competitive these athletes have been all season. I could not be more proud of these outstanding athletes.
