| May 3rd -- Coach Redding, Congratulations Collinsville Public Schools has been awarded a Preserve-Lids Foundation Grant from the McBride Foundation! You will receive 45 football helmets directly to the school in c/o Tom Redding. If we have additional questions about specifics on the equipment we will be in touch. | Cardinal JHI Football May 2016 Our school year is about to be over. It has been a great year for our student athletes, with many accomplishments. But before we leave for our summer vacation let me give you a few details about the end of school and our summer schedule. Due to a lack of state funding, the last day of school will be May 13th. Physicals will be Tuesday, May 17th at 6:00pm in the high school commons for all athletes. You must have a physical to compete in any sport. Please make every effort to take your physical at this time. A group of doctors from Central States Orthopedics will be there to conduct the physicals. The cost is $15.00. Please make checks out to CHS. There will be no spring football for 2016, 7th, 8th and 9th grade athletes. We will begin Summer Pride July 5th. Please do NOT turn your forms or money into the office. Bring your form and money to Coach Jones or Coach Redding on or before July 5th. Make checks out to CHS. Fall practice begins
Aug. 8th with a parent and athlete (7,8,9) team meeting at 6:30pm in
the High School cafeteria. Please park in the far west parking lot just
west of the new practice gym. We provide most of the equipment any player needs. A 5 pocket girdle will be needed but not required. If you cannot purchase a girdle we do have pant pads and belts for game pants. Also a pair of football shoes will be needed. If you have any question please contact me at any time. Coach’m up |
