Coach Rhonda Rogers was pumped up for freshman Chase Curtis to clear his first ever varsity high jump attempt (above).

Staring 16'2" In The Face -- At the Owasso track meet Friday Sophmore Hayden West (defending 5A state pole vault champ) had already locked up the win at Owasso after clearing 15"6" and was working for a better height (above) when he had cleared the bar with everything except that last arm which knocked off the bar.

CHS Track Teams Both 6th at Owasso Friday -- Well the 1st meet of the 2016 Season is in the the books. The weather was beautiful, the competition was high, and the Cardinals were looking good! Amongst an all 6A field, the Cardinals held their own with both teams finishing 6th in team standings. All HS team members competed yesterday, including our freshman, who won't normally attend HS meets. All athletes should be proud of their efforts as we coaches are very proud of you.

This week the JH will be at Wagoner on Thursday and the HS will be at Glenpool on Friday. More info on those meets to come.

Here is the 2016 Collinsville Track and Field schedule. Please note the following about this years schedule: we will be hosting three home track meets this year, one of those three will be the jh Metro Lakes Conference Meet. The CHS conference meet will be at Tahlequah because it is their turn to host. They were unable to host the jh conference meet, so we volunteered. The jh conference has been moved to Saturday, April 30 at 10:30 am.

We would also like to point out that the 2016 Track and Field Pie Auction is on Tuesday, March 1st. Start time is 6:30 pm. Location is the brand new Collinsville High School Commons Area.
