Collinsville Girls Lost To Fort Gibson In Opening Round Of Tournament Of Champions
At ORU Mabee Center
This was the point in the 3rd quarter when Fort Gipson pulled ahead and kept the lead for the rest of the Wednesday afternoon game at ORU. Collinsville led 20-14 after the first quarter and 39-32 at half-time. Fort Gipson's 3rd quarter press and Collinsville's inability to make shots gave Fort Gipson a five point lead (47-52) to start the final quarter. The final score was 55-66. Mallory Vaughn picked up her 4th personal foul with 1:30 left in the 3rd quarter and sat out several minutes after that.

The Lady Cardinals Basketball Girls lost 55-66 to Ft. Gipson at the Tournament of Champions Wednesday (at the ORU Maybee Center). They led 39-32 at the half but were outscored 8-20 in the 3rd quarter and never regained the lead. Collinsville will play again Thursday at 1:30. -- photos later - Ted -- 12/28/2016

-- Collinsville had reached the top spot in 5A by beating 6A schools at the Bixby Tournament but lost today to the top rated 4A girls team. -- Owasso will be Thursday's TOC opponent having lost to Adair Wed.
