Carolyn
Smith Awarded State FFA's Top Honor |
Collinsville FFA would like to congratulate one of Collinsvilles finest, Mrs. Carolyn Smith for receiving her Honorary State Degree at the 90th Annual State FFA Convention. For those of you who may not be familiar with FFA, this is the highest honor that can be bestowed on an individual at the state level. Only a handful of these awards are given each year to people such as Carolyn who strive to make a positive difference in the lives of our young people. We are very proud to have Carolyn as a part of our community! Thanks again for all you Carolyn for all you do. -- Jenifer Hamlin -- April 29, 2016 |

CHS Golf Girls Are Regional Champions ... Headed To State |
The girls golf team
won the regional tournament today shooting a season low 336, which beat
the second place team by 8. Nina placed second. Madison and Gail were
tied for 3rd so they had to go into a playoff. I'm extremely proud of
these girls. They continue to improve every tournament. They will now
compete at the state tournament in Durant May 4th and 5th. Go cardinals!
