After a long hot summer of practice in the middle school gym (which they "survived"), the CHS Volleyball team had been able to utilize the brand new (air conditioned) upper elementary gym for their home games so far this season with the high school gym unavailable. This Skiatook match was re-located to the middle school gym for the anticipated larger crowd. The players and fans were pleasantly surprised when they arrived to cool air in the normally sweltering middle school gym as temporary air conditioning had been put in place for this game only. Collinsville is hoping to host a volleyball regional and this would be a potential back up mode if the high school gym is not finished by that time (Oct. 6th). | ||||||
