Payton Benham is the only senior on the 2015 CHS softball team and she was well represented by family at the Senior Nite ceremony after the Tahlequah varsity game here September 22nd.

Gail Young (#2) beat this throw to the plate for the first Collinsville score in the 2nd inning.

First baseman Brittany Kickapoo (#12) tagged out this Tahlequah base runner just before a collision on the baseline but she held on for the out in the 5th inning.

Brittany Kickapoo (#12) was forced out at 2nd base but prevented the double play by not sliding and Rylee DeLozier (#15) reached first safely in the 5th inning with a fielders choice.

Brittany Kickapoo (#12) nearly got to this Tahlequah foul ball before it dropped near the fence down the right field line in the 6th inning.

MaKayla Bowman (#23) was safe at first when the Tahlequah fielder couldn't hang on to a wide throw in the 6th. She later scored on a Kickapoo sacrafice fly for the 3rd Collinsville run.

Taylor Reed (#14) tracked down this Tahlequah double off the wall to open the 7th inning.

Taylor Reed (#14) covered a lot of left field ground to reach this pop foul in the 7th but had it bounce off her chest instead of the glove.

MaKayla Bowman (#23 above) and Ravyn Murphy (#5 left) worked on their juggling skills while waiting for the senior nite activities.

The Lady Cardinals Varsity Softball Team beat Tahlequah this evening 3-0 and JV tied 0-0. Next game will be Thursday at Pryor at 5pm. The Lady Cardinals need to beat Pryor both there and at home in order to host Regionals. Make plans now to come out and support the Lady Cardinals on Oct. 1st when they play Pryor at home.
