Soccer Car Wash / Tulsa Bike Riders (September 26th)
These two subjects have very little in common other than they crossed paths Saturday morning (Sept. 26th) as the CHS Soccer Girls were holding a fund raiser car wash at the fire station as wave after wave of bikers passed them on Main Street on a trip that started/ended in Tulsa. The bicylists also had a refreshment stop set up at the Collinsville Library across the street.

Airman Acres Fly-In
I was vagely aware that the Collinsville Airman Acre Fly-In was scheduled for Saturday September 26, but I had too many other activities on my list to even think about driving out. But, I did see several interesting planes (like the one above) fly over Collinsville while I was at Sallee Field for elementary football and at City Park for the skateboarding. -- Ted Wright
