Another Victory Energy Expansion
John Viskup, President and CEO of Victory Energy in Collinsville is shown with Collinsville City Manager Pam Polk at a ceremonial ground breaking (September 8, 2015) for a 35,000-square-foot expansion at the plant east of Garnett and north of 136th St. North. The plant expansion is expected to be completed by the end of 2015. The company manufactures pressure vessels.
I've added the red "X" where the September 2015 ground breaking took place onto a 2011 photo from Victory Energy's web site. I asked for additional information directly from Victory Energy at the September 8th ground breaking but that has not yet been received.

Cardinal Football
Jr. High Update
9-18-15

The Collinsville Cardinals 7th, 8th, and 9th grade football teams played the Claremore Zebras Thursday night in Claremore for a Metro Lakes Conference contest. With the heat index over 100 degrees on the artificial surface, conditioning and toughness were going to be a major factor in team success.
The Zebras have installed a unique offense called the “single wing”. The old school style offense used in the 1940’s and 50’s was a challenge to the Cardinals. Each contest was a hard fought game. The coaches are very proud of our teams’ efforts but agree we must get better.
7th grade win a tough one 20-7. We improve to 2-1.
8th grade lose a close one 30-24. We are 2-1.
9th grade dominate 22-0. We improve to 3-0.

Parents, we have a certified trainer, Matt Boyne, contracted through Central States Orthopedics. Please consider using his services before taking your son to a doctor. Sports medicine treatment procedures are more aggressive than a normal family doctor. You can contact Matt anytime on his cell, 918/629/8778 or at the office 918/272/4488.

Our next action will be Thursday, September 24, at Sallee Field. We will host the Grove Ridgerunners in a Metro Lakes Conference contest. Games begin at 5:00pm.
