CHS Soccer Boys -vs- Coweta
Collinsville Boys Lost 1-2 In First Home Game
Season Start Delayed

Snow and ice pretty well wiped out the February portion of CHS soccer (& baseball) seasons (practices and scrimmages) ... but the varsity soccer teams finally squeezed in a pair of home games Tuesday (between snows). With afternoon temperatures into the fifties it felt almost balmy compared to mostly teens and twenties recently. The temperatures did slide quickly after the sun set. Unfortunately the visiting Coweta Tigers took home the victories over both the Cardinal girls and boys.
Rylan Dilling (#1) headed in Collinsville's only goal Tuesday night at the 7:20 mark in the second half to tie the score at 1-1. After a scoreless first half, Coweta had gone up 0-1 at 34:32 in the second. Coweta scored the winning goal with 4:12 left in the game.

Soccer games tonight vs Metro Christian have been cancelled due to extreme weather. No reschedule for varsity games but will make up the jv games at a later date.
