| CHS Debate Team Exercise -- December 16th |

| The CHS debate class debated IPhone -vs- Android devices in front of CHS students December 16, 2015. The students in attendance had paid $1 each for a fundraiser. The debate team is new this year and this first "public" debate is one step in getting ready to hopefully participate in OSSAA level debates in the future. Melissa Brown is the instructor for the team. I did not get all of the student names, so will include none. -- Ted |

The GFWC Home Representative Club held their December 2015 meeting at the beautifully decorated home of Susan Pratt. Members enjoyed a salad supper and ornament exchange. Funds were collected to support the Heifer Foundation, which will provide clean water and a variety of small farm animals to a needy family. The club also made a cash donation to Dividing Bread, Collinsville, which was used to purchase gifts requested on a local 'angel tree." |
