| First year CHS Volleyball
Head Coach Ashley Maritz was joined by her former club volleyball coach
(Jim Newman) for a few days of his expertise imparted on the 2015 Collinsville
High School Lady Cardinals this week. |

| Collinsville's varsity
girls scrimmaged Muskogee, Owasso, Enid and likely another team after
I departed the Owasso High School Gym Friday afternoon. The Collinsville
JV and Freshman teams also scrimmaged in other Owasso gyms, but I have

| The
varsity volleyball team started practices at the newly completed (&
air conditioned) Upper Elementary gym July 30th. They had been practicing
earlier this summer at the (hot) middle school gym with the CHS
Gym out of commission. Varsity home games will also be played at the
upper elementary (CUE) until the HS gyms are ready for use. The regular
season starts August 11th at Skiatook. The first home game is August 17th
-vs- Berryhill. |
