CHS Football Cardinals began official practices August 10th at Sallee
Field.

| With the start of football practice at Sallee Field Monday night August 10th the band relocated to the ESC parking lot across the street to finish their practice before their Tuesday night band preview the following night. | ||||

| The secondary teachers were the first group to gather at the new upper elementary Monday August 10th to be welcomed back by Superintendent Lance West and begin their professional day before classes started 3 days later for the 2015-16 school year. The elementary teacher met there later the same day. | ||||

| The Collinsville CrimsonCadet Bandheld their preview night August 11 for parents at Sallee Field to show a small portion of their 2015 marching program. They began summer band July 27th. | ||||

| It's still too early
to call ... as there is still a large crew of contractors working this
evening to try to have the CHS kitchen/commons ready for high school student
in the morning (August 13th). The workers have made remarkable progress
since I was last in the commons July 29th. The school CNP/transportation
folks have contingency plans to cook at another campus and haul food in
if it is required for a few days. Everything is ready at all other campuses.
