Ted Wright Note: my daughter Emily (Collinsville High School, University of Miami and James Cook University graduate) had worked for James Cook University for several years in Townsville, Queensland, Australia for several years before moving (Dec. 2014) to the southernmost state of Australia in Tasmania to work at the government run salmon fishery helping manage the facility and keep the fish healthy.
Road Closure Notice / Sewer Expansion
City of Collinsville Oklahoma Government (~5:30pm 8/5/2015):

PUBLIC NOTICE: A portion of south 2nd Street will be closed beginning Thursday morning 08-06-15 due to a sewer line project requiring a road cut. The contractor states the work shall be completed early next week. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

This was the view (facing east) August 10th just after crossing the bridge behind Holman Seed Farm on my way to the Collinsville Elementary schools on 129th East Ave. The stretch of road that connect to 129th from 2nd and Main was being obstructed with on-going construction on a new sewer system east of 129th. The project extends as far south as 136th St. North (below) with many new houses likely in the not to distant future. -- Ted
The beginnings of a new residentail road were apparent in this view facing north from 136th St. North just east of 129th E. Ave. a few weeks ago (in addition to the new sewer placement).
