TULSA SHOCK AND AMERICAN FIDELITY ASSURANCE COMPANY CALL FOR “PE TEACHER OF THE GAME” NOMINATIONS

TULSA, Okla. - For the sixth consecutive year, the Tulsa Shock and American Fidelity Assurance Company took open nominations for individuals to be honored as PE Teacher/Coach of the Game. This program is a unique opportunity for students and fellow educators to show their appreciation for the athletic role models in their lives.

At each Tulsa Shock home game, one honoree will receive a prize pack consisting of two VIP courtside tickets, 30 group tickets to invite students and family, complimentary parking, an American Fidelity Assurance Company gift pack, and a special moment of recognition with Tulsa Shock and American Fidelity Assurance Company representatives on court during the second quarter. All honorees are also automatically nominated for their chance to be selected as the American Fidelity Assurance Company PE Teacher/Coach of the Year, with that honoree being presented with their award at the last regular season home game of the 2015 season.

Oklahoma Wrestling Coach of Year (Again)
Collinsville Athletic Director Jim Riley announced at the August 2015 School Board meeting that Collinsville Coach Weston Harding had been selected Wrestling Coach of the Year at the July meetings of the Oklahoma Coaches Association. This was Hardings 3rd time as state coach of the year while being region 7 coach of the year for 5 straight years (and winning 5 straight state championships).
