Recent CMS and CHS Track Meet Results

On Tuesday April 7, CMS was at Owasso for a 7-8 grade only meet. CMS was the only 5A team in attendance among some tough 6A opponents, yet one group continues to steal the spotlight. Our 7th grade girls were once again the overall meet champions in their division. The other boys and girls divisions also had strong finishes but fell just short of overall team champions. With only 2 meets remaining in this seasons schedule, our athletes are working hard to prove that they belong on the teams that will compete at conference. Conference rules state that only the top 3 competitors in each event can compete in the Metro Lakes Conference track meet on Tuesday, April 28. The next jh track meet is Thursday, April 23. Here is the link to start time and order of events for Coweta: http://www.ohstrack.com/trackinfo2015/cowetainfo42315.pdf

On Friday April 3rd, the CHS boys and girls track teams competed at Oologah. The CHS boys finished 3rd with the CHS girls finishing 8th of 16 teams competing. Some gusty north winds kept the meet a bit chilly but did help runners on the back stretch. This link will take you to all the results from the Oologah meet: http://www.ohstrack.com/trackresults2015/oologah40315.pdf

Last Friday the CHS boys and girls track team teams competed at the BTW Track Classic. In the team standings the CHS boys finished 6th with the CHS girls finishing 7th. One look at the teams entered will tell you that our athletes are competing at very high levels as many had personal best performances and several school records were broken. Our staff is very pleased with the progression of our athletes training and their continuous dedication to their skills. You can follow this link to all final results from the meet: http://www.ohstrack.com/trackresults2015/tulsawashington41715.htm

The next CHS track meet is this Friday at Muskogee. this link will take you to the order of events and start times: http://www.ohstrack.com/trackinfo2015/muskogeeinfo42415.pdf
