Lady Cards Drop 1-4 Game To Coweta Here Thursday
Gail Young (#2) pitched most of the 1st four innings against Coweta.
Maybe the umpire's view was partially blocked by an arm or a leg? ... but his safe call despite Makayla Bowman's (#23) tag was not the call Collinsville fans and players expected in the 4th inning.
Ravyn Murphy (#5) drove in the only Collinsville score with this swing in the 4th inning. Marissa Huggins led off with a walk and reached 3rd after a sacrafice by Whisenhunt and a single by Young. The Lady Cards let a big opportunity go by in the 3rd inning after loading up the bases with only one out but leaving them stranded while already down by 3 Coweta runs.
Brittany Kickapoo (#12) fouled off this Coweta pitch.
Sydnie McClelland (#21) nearly got to this right field bloop single.
CardinalTV provided live internet coverage of the game.
(L-R) Mallory Vaughn, Emma Alexander, instructor Kim Myers, and Sami Harp.
Kaylie Byrom was running the CardinalTV camera down the right field line.
