Boys Basketball Season Ended Friday -- Tough final season loss in Del City in a VERY defensive game. Final score Cards 24 Coweta 32. So proud of these Cardinals! Note: The basketball regional here Saturday is an OSSAA event hosted by Colllinsville. The only pass accepted is an OSSAA Playoff Pass. The same is true at Del City and OKC. -- Ted
Ted's Tactical Plan: I hope to have photos of the basketball girls hoisting a regional plaque and the wrestlers hoisting another state championship trophy by the end of the day. But you won't see any status here on either until about midnight as I plan to travel light and leave my computer in Collinsville. Spending any update time after basketball here might delay me getting to OKC for the first match of the wrestling finals and any delay there might give me more minutes on the potentially icy roads late this evening. -- Ted Wright -- noon Saturday 3/1/2014

All of the first quarter points came via 3-point shots (5 for Collinsville and 1 for McAlester). There were a few 1 & 2 pointers mixed in with more 3-pointers in the next 3 quarters. Collinsville (the Regional Champs) and McAlester both advance to Area play next week. -- Ted
