JV Baseball -vs- Claremore
Collinsville JV Lost 3-4 To Claremore In Last Game of
JV Baseball Festival Here
Tanner Curtis (#17) got to 2nd base in the scoreless first inning on a Claremore throwing error.
Cale Crutchfield (#11) glides into 3rd base in the 5th inning when Collinsville scored 2 runs to tie the score at 2-2. Collinsville later had the bases loaded with 1 out but a sharp liner was caught and a runner doubled off to end the threat.
Bryce Coons (#20) was behind the plate with Trevin Thomas (#15) pitching.
Larry Coons (#3 second base), Zach Bess (#13 center field), & Cale Crutchfield (#11 first base)
Cale Crutchfield (#11) got the throw at first but couldn't keep his foot on the base.
JV Coach Matt Davison talked to the squad after the Claremore game Saturday. There were several games played Friday & Saturday at the Collinsville hosted festival but I just have photos from this one game. -- Ted

The CHS Varsity Baseball Team is at Bartlesville's Tournament Thurs-Fri.

The JV Baseball team is hosting a JV Festival here: (Fri-Sat):
Five games Friday: 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, & 6:00pm.
Two games Saturday starting at 12:00pm & 2:00pm.
Teams are from Claremore, Tulsa, Union, Sallisaw, and Collinsville.
Cville JV plays at 10am Fri. vs Union and 2pm Friday and 12pm Sat (not sure who they play).

Trevin Thomas (#15) pitched all 7 innings and had a 3-2 lead after Collinsville's (visitor) half of the 7th but Claremore's JV came up with 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th for the win.

Zach Bess (#13) with a sacrafice bunt advanced Hayden Wichmann (leadoff single) who eventually scored on a Larry Coons long fly ball to give Collinsville a 3-2 lead in the top of the 7th.
