4th Grade Cardinal Chaos (Girls Basketball)
Ted,
I wanted to let you know that the 4th grade Cardinal Chaos girls placed 3rd in the post season tournament in Oologah last night. The girls did a great job this season! -- Darrell White (2/12/2014)
Wilson Elementary "Dependable" 2nd Graders

Wilson students are learning about dependability during the month of February. We have already learned that the definition of dependability is being reliable and trustworthy. We are also learning a quote about dependability is, "Let's hear it for the good people out there being reliable, loyal, trustworthy, giving, and kind." (Author unknown).

The following 2nd graders were chosen from their class who represent dependability. (Note - it was our 100th day of school celebration, so Kamri Delozier was dressed as a 100-year-old woman. She doesn't normally dress this way!)

El Jalapeno Grill
Supports Collinsville Education Foundation
The Monday Feb. 3rd CEF Day at Jalapeno Grill unfortunately coincided with a recent snow day with no school and hampered travel. That resulted in a reduced number of CEF supporting customers. According to CEF trustee Ron Evans, the owners (Tony and Rosa Perez) then decided to switch from donating 20% of the proceeds to closer to 50% resulting in a $700 check. That will help support future CEF teacher grants (as does the annual CEF Golf Tournament which is scheduled for June 9, 2014).
