Congratulations are in order for the
Collinsville High School Band

Yesterday (April 15th) they competed at the OSSAA State Concert band contest in Bartlesville. The band earned a Superior rating on the stage, and in sight-reading. The band also earned a Superior rating at the OSSAA Marching contest back in October. These three Superior ratings qualify the High School Band for the OSSAA Sweepstakes Award, the highest honor given to a band in the state. Congratulations to these outstanding musicians.

Looking ahead to May -- The band has split it's cornation from the Monday May 5th Concert (at Claremore PAC) and it will now be held on Thursday, May 1st at First Assembly Church in Owasso (just east of Home Depot) along with the band banquet. Unfortunately that overlaps with the CHS Chorus Concert/Cornation also May 1st at CHS. -- Ted 4/11/2014
CHS Boys Tennis At McAlester

Congratulations to William Reynolds who placed 2nd at the McAlester Tournament on Friday. This was a very tough tournament and we are very proud of the effort given by all the tennis players.

Victory eluded Ray Smith on the tennis court, but he was victorious in the "Blazin Wing Challenge" at Buffalo Wild Wings after the tournament. Way to go Ray!
