Student Volleyball Tournament At CHS In Progress
I stopped by the High School Thursday (Oct. 24th) to check out some of the action in an on-going student volleyball tournament held during their "flex" period. I'll try to catch a few more games next week. -- Ted
Janel Lundgren teaches an athletic training class (sports injuries and prevention) during her flex hour M-Th. Although they don't want anyone to get hurt during the volleyball games they would get some hands-on experience if the need arose.

Alissa Wilson Sets Powerlifting Record At Coffeyville

Alissa Wilson is on the powerlifting team at Coffeyville Community College, and this was her very first competition. She broke the deadlift and squat record ( 253# 115 kg's), and set the bench press record. -- Thank you Shannon Wilson (10/22/2013)
