We also had several individuals enter items in the competitive exhibits. There is a laundry list of items that a person can enter ranging from handmade quilts, photos, artwork, even model cars and Lego’s have a division. Halie Chambers and Cori Ingram each entered the photography division with amazing pictures but unfortunately did not place as the competition is stiff and there are hundreds of photos to compete against. Dalton Self also entered an item. Dalton designed and made a birdhouse that placed 3rd in his division.

CHS Academic Team Now Has 11 Wins and Only 1 Loss

CHS Academic Team -- Monday (Oct. 7th) we suffered our first loss, to Oologah, in a very challenging round which included a tie in the first half which required three tie-breakers. However, we bounced back and went on to defeat Sperry and Locust Grove for a still outstanding record of 11 wins and 1 loss. Special thanks to Mrs. Lundgren and Mrs. Hollingsworth who served as our volunteer readers!

We play again this Thursday, at home at 4 p.m., against Caney Valley, Berryhill, and Olive as we prepare for the district tournament next week at Bishop Kelley.
