(FFA) Tornado Relief
Collinsville FFA Advisor Jennifer Burge reported Friday morning (May 24, 2013) that the truck leaving mid-day Friday was over half full. -- Ted
Discount for those who donate to tornado relief --

Must be Trendy has contacted me and offered to give a discount to those who donate to Collinsville FFA for tornado relief. If you donate at the ag building you will receive a ticket from Ms. Burge for Must be Trendy, if you drop off supplies at Must be Trendy they will set you up with your discount. Must be Trendy is open until 7 p.m. and I (Ms. Burge) will be at the high school during the evening today, late afternoon tomorrow, and FFA members will be at the building Friday morning until we leave at noon.

Red Cross has updated the list of items needed to the following:

Paper towels
Gatorade
Snack foods (individually wrapped items)
Bottled Water
Diapers
Hand wipes/Baby wipes
Hygiene Items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc,
Ibuprofen/Tylenol
Work gloves
Face masks

We are also making a stop at Edmond Memorial where they will be taking clothes donations to help those who lost everything. Clothes and shoes of all sizes are welcome!

Fundraiser For CHS Girls Basketball
Members of the 2013-14 Collinsville Girls HS Basketball team were working hard Saturday May 18th washing cars to support their summer camps. Coach Susie Vaughn (below) looks like she may be able to assist the Collinsville Fire Department (if needed) after a day dispensing water with their equipment. -- Ted

The Collinsville Lady Cardinals Basketball Team is having a car wash Saturday, May 18th at the Collinsville Fire Station on Main Street from 10am-3pm. They are selling tickets in advance. The cost of the ticket is $5. All money earned will help the players go to team camps this summer. Please let me know if your interested.
