Brief Summary Of
Rachel's Challenge
* Look for the best in people
* Dream big (& keep a journal)
* Choose positive influences
* Speak with kindness
* Start your own chain reaction of kindness
Many Collinsville students and parents signed the banner to "accept" Rachel's Challenge.
CHS Counselor Dawn Martinez indicated the Collinsvile "chain reaction" from Rachel's Challenge actually started about 4 years ago when a group of CHS Student Council members attended a "Rachel's Challenge" presentation at Yukon HS. Those students started the effort to bring the presentation here but it took 4 years and support from the school, Education Foundation, plus community merchants and churches to finally make it happen.
Collinsville will have new organizations (at CHS & CMS) to carry on the Rachel's Challenge here locally. Check back for more information on those groups. The national contact information is at RachelsChallenge.org and on Facebook.
