Cherokee Challenge Bowl

Collinsville Red Birds -- Wilson Elementary

Wilson Elementary had one team (above) compete in the Cherokee Challenge Bowl Competition on March 12, 2013 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. The team is Collinsville Red Birds and they placed 1st and will received $50 each and will be awarded at an awards ceremony in May.

Herald Elementary entered one team also (below) in the Cherokee Challenge Bowl Competition on March 14, 2013. The team name is Collinsville Cardinals and they placed 2nd out of 25 teams and will receive $40 each and will also be awarded at a May awards ceremony.

Lenora McMullen was also a Challenge Bowl Teacher at Wilson and Tonya Vaughn helped teach students at Herald.

We are so proud of these students who wish to learn about their culture, language and history.

Senior Tea
-- Tuesday April 2nd
The Home Representative Club's Senior Tea (for CHS senior girls) is scheduled for April 2nd. The tea will be held at Faith Fellowship / Current Church. The tea begins at 2:00 pm. The entry is in the back of the church on the west side. -- Jeannie Barnes 3/25/2013
