My Mother, Jo Jarrell, has passed away today. Mother would have been 86 in a few days. She is now at peace after spending the past 8 years suffering through the many stages of Alzheimer's. God bless her, we loved her dearly -- 1/1/2013
Ted Wright Note: Although I have been divorced from her daughter (Patti) for more than a decade, Sadie Jo Jarrell was my only mother-in-law. She was also a grandmother to my two daughters (Samantha & Emily). Patti owned the "Tejas Stamps" rubber stamps/craft store here in Collinsville for a few years starting in 1999.
Sadie Jo Jarrell's parents (Bill Winks and Lydia Keyes) got married in Collinsville in 1916 before moving west a few years later. Bill Winks had worked for the gas company in Collinsville. Lydia Keyes' father was even Collinsville police chief briefly in 1913.
