CHS Tennis Practice At City Park
The CHS boys and girls tennis teams were at city park Tuesday (Feb. 5, 2013) taking advantage of the unseasonable mid-60's temperatures for their practice. Their first official matches will be February 28th at Tulsa Edison. (Previous)
Probably Track Practice Also?
I'm just guessing that the handful of runners I saw heading west on Main (from near the middle school) Tuesday were members of the CHS track team? Maybe I'll get a better practice photo for the track team soon if the nice weather lasts. And perhaps baseball & golf also? -- Ted 2/6/2012
City Park Vandalism

This photo from Tuesday shows some of the weekend? damage discovered Monday morning at Collinsville City Park. There were three different locations along the new trail where the new sod had been driven over and damaged by a vehicle. This portion of the trail is recently completed and the sod is still just sitting on the surface with no chance for deep roots yet. Contact the Collinsville Police Department if you have information about this incident.

And with all the recent work by the Collinsville Soil Program there are many yards in Collinsville with similar new sod ... so please be carefull and avoid parking on those right of ways (wet or dry). -- Ted Wright 2/6/2013
