Silent Auction -- Friends of the Collinsville Library
November 23 - December 8, 2012

It is time for FOCL’s Annual Silent Auction to benefit the teen and children’s programs at the Collinsville Library. We are asking businesses, organizations, churches, schools, and individuals to fill a basket with intriguing items, decorations, books, candy, OU, OSU, TU items or a small decorated tree, or send a plant to be included in our silent auction. Bidding will begin at noon on the Friday after Thanksgiving, 11-23-12, and will close at 4:30 on the day of the Collinsville Parade, 12-8-12. You may bring your item to the library at any time. The bidding sheet for your item will have your name, the value of the item and the starting bid.

These are always lots of fun, especially when there is a bidding war on popular items. Be creative…use your imagination…help us fund all types of programs for our Collinsville Library children!

See you at your library!!!

"Sharing" Character Kids
Students at Wilson Elementary are learning about "sharing". Sharing means letting someone use something of yours. The quote we're learning about sharing is: "The miracle is this: the more we share, the more we have" by Leonard Nimoy. The first and second grade classrooms have chosen students in their classrooms who display good sharing traits. -- Lee Ann Due (11/12/2012)
1st Grade Sharing Students (11-9-12) -- Sydney Cavin, Jaylie Pippen, Tabatha Kiddy, Dylan Seawright, Andrew Xiong, Johnny Her, Bre Collins, Brennan Wood, and Jaxton Marr

2nd Grade Sharing Students (11-9-12) -- Cooper Castleberry, Geralynn Barnett, Autumn Stout, Jasper Wolf-Rush, Brayden Fleming, Courtney Priest, Nathan Eastin, Keeleigh Hall, and Mackenzie Weygand
