THANK YOU BOOSTERS!-The Band Directors would like to Thank the Boosters for all we do for the Band. They said "it takes a village" and they couldn't have done as much as they do without our help. They said that even Terry Due (the Superintendent) was singing our praises!

ALL DISTRICT-All District was on November 3 in Owasso. Emily Fuller, Kylie Malone, Emma Pfeffer, Jarid Delp, Nicole Schrag, Joelle Nelson, Austin Marler all earned a spot in the band and will perform in January. Logan Robertson, Tanner Robertson, Kelsi Boyce, Eric Shockley, Nathan Schaffner and Caden Weathers were alternates. And Kelsi Boyce, Shelby Craig, Eric Shockley and Emily Fuller qualified to go to the second round of All-State on Saturday, Dec 1. Congratulations to all these kids and the kids that tried out and didn't make it.

ALL STATE JAZZ BAND-This weekend Mitchel Reynolds and Xavier Zelis will audition for All-State Jazz Band. This is the first time in many years that Collinsville students have auditioned for this band.

WINTER GUARD-17 girls and 1 boy were chosen to perform with the Winter Guard. Congrats to them!

WINTER CONCERT is December 4 at 7pm. Students will need to be there earlier and wear concert black. That means all BLACK! Black shoes, socks, dresses, pants, shirts. It will be at the Owasso Performing Art Center (Owasso High School, parking lot across from the Quick Trip).

66ER's BASKETBALL game in the next day December 5 at 11am. Going is optional. The cost is $9 per student and includes a sack lunch. If any parents want to go there are discounts for groups of 10 or more. I am hoping to take the day off to go. If you want to and get discounted tickets let me know.

CHRISTMAS PARADE- will be on Saturday December 8 at 11am. Cadets need to wear their band uniforms and a Santa/Christmas hat. Guard needs to speak will Lonnie about what to wear.

CHILI LUNCH-The Booster are putting together a Chili Lunch after the Christmas Parade with the help of the Masonic Lodge. Nikki Glaus will be contacting them and setting up everything, but we will need volunteers to help serve the food and Boosters to make and donate desserts. We will also need Boosters to help hand out fliers during the parade. If you are willing to volunteer PLEASE let me know so I can start getting Nikki a preliminary list. The Masons have offered to have someone dress as Santa for kids to come take pictures with for free. Sounds like a lot of fun!!

STUDENT TEACHER-Collinsville will have a Student Teacher next semester. Her name is Amy Clark. She goes to TU and is a clarinet player. If you see her please introduce yourself and make her feel welcome.

DC TRIP MONEY-Please remember that the first $250 per person going on the DC trip is due by November 30th.

CONCESSIONS FOR SALE-There is still candy, pop and food that was left over at the end of concession that is for sale at great prices. We need to get rid of these perishables so we can get paid from the school. Bottled pop is $1 a bottle or $24 for a case. Candy is .50 cents a piece (mostly Starbusts and M&M's). Small bags of chips are .25 cents a bag or $12 a box (50 per box), big bags of Nacho Chips are $4 a bag, there is one box of hamburger patties $25 (40 patties) and a 10lbs box of hotdogs for $22. If you would like to purchase any of these items please get in touch with Kevin Vandalia at kncvandalia@yahoo.com as soon as possible.

CAGE CLEANING-Sometime soon their will be a cleaning day for the Cage in the back of the football concession. This cage holds all the Booster necessities for Concerts and Fundraisers and the Concession, like plates, cups, punch bowls, ice chests ect. Kevin will be getting us a day soon for any volunteer who may want to come help us get the place clean. We would appreciate anybody who would like to volunteer.

If anyone has any questions please ask. If I do not know the answer I will try to find the information for you.

Thanks, Connie Collis
