Cow Patty Bingo Winners Announced

Sherri Clark (left) was presented a $500 check by Carolyn Smith from the Collinsville Tri-County Fair Board.
The Collinsville Tri County Fair sponsored its first ever Cow Patty Bingo on Saturday, June 9 across from Jalapeno Grill during Hogs N Hot Rods. It was a resounding success. Sherry Clark was the top winner. Other winners included: Tony Perez, Lynn Beasley and Mitch Enloe. A drawing was held from all tickets purchased as we awarded 18 coupons from local businesses. We appreciate the donations from: Millers, Greybeards, and Silver Dollar Café. We want to thank Tim Seals for the use of his property on Main Street. A big ‘thank you’ to Ted Wright, cvilleok.com, for placing our ad on his website. Molly Moo was on site courtesy of Michaela Brenen.

The 66th Collinsville Tri County Fair is scheduled for August 23 thru 26th this year. Area 4-H and FFA youth will be participating from throughout northeast Oklahoma.

-- Susan Worstell (6/18/2012)

Note: Susan also indicated the loss of the (soon to be torn down) Senior Citizens / 4-H building at the fairgrounds combined with the current poor condition of the Veterans Building required the fair board to rent the West Main Event Center for use during this year's fair (within a half block of the fairgrounds).
You never know what might roll down Main Street Collinsville (AKA Highway 20). Happened to be out today (about 2:30pm) and saw what I assume were wind turbine blades headed west. Each was about 3/4 of a city block long. -- Ted Wright 6/18/2012
