Logan Robertson's Eagle Scout Ceremony July 21st |
Logan Robertson of
Collinsville, son of Eugene and Nikki Robertson, earned the highest rank
in Boy Scouts, Eagle Scout, on March 26, 2012. Logan began his scouting
career as a Tiger Cub with Pack 836 at Larkin Bailey Elementary in Owasso.
The following year his family moved to Collinsville and Logan joined Pack
53. He earned his Arrow of Light in February 2009 and bridged into Boy
Scout Troop 44 in Collinsville. Logan served as Patrol Leader, Chaplain
Aide, and Assistant Senior Patrol Leader. Logan has earned 42 Merit Badges
and attended summer camp at Camp Tom Hale three times. He is scheduled
to take a high adventure Philmont trip in summer 2013. Logan attended Pine Tree leader training during the fall of 2010. He then attended National Youth Leadership Training during 2012. Logan recently had the pleasure of being a staff member of Webelos Resident Camp at John Zink Ranch. Logan was elected by Troop 44 to the Order of the Arrow, Scoutings National Honor Society, and became a member after completion of his Ordeal during the fall of 2011. Logans Eagle Scout patch is unique in that 2012 is the 100th anniversary of the first ever Eagle Scout. Logan is one of the scouts who will receive a patch that no Eagle before or after 2012 will ever earn. Logans project consisted of repairing, painting, and upgrading parts of the Collinsville Band room. He was assisted by 19 volunteers and logged 112 hours. He greatly appreciated donations from Cribbetts Hardware, Anchor Paint, Spectrum Paint, Wal-Mart, and the Collinsville Band Boosters. Logan will be a 9th grader at Collinsville High School. He is a member of the Collinsville Crimson Cadets where he plays trombone. The public is invited to attend his Court of Honor on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Owasso Church of Christ. |
Please announce this
on CVILLEOK.COM. Appreciate all you do for the community. -- Thanks, The Robertson Family (7/15/2012) |
