During the month of August, Wilson Elementary students learned about the character word Determination. Determination means to never give up on a goal or an idea. The quote we used for Determination was "When you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on." Franklin D. Roosevelt

The following group of students were chosen in their classrooms who demonstrated the character trait of determination:

1st Grade (8-26-11) -- Keeleigh Hall, Courtney Priest, Colin Baumgarte, Payton Miller, Shawn Roberts, Jasmine Ramos, Thomas Smith, and Kate Tice

1st Grade (9-2-11) -- Blake Lemasters, Ashton Watkins, Roman Dessiatov, Kamron Rogers, Taylor Rhoton, Weston Mace, Presley Weathers, and Hayden Felkins

2nd Grade (9-2-11) -- Jarrett Stehl, Caitlyn House, Connor Dilks, Brennan Vaughn, Olivia Allen, Will Thetford, Colton Minton, and Jay McAnally
