Ted Wright Note: I didn't know Gerald Dildine very well as I was closer in age to his younger brother (Kirk) and sister (Darla) but I have a memorable event that I always associate with him. In the summer of 1973, I was home from the University of Oklahoma working for my parents at The Collinsville News and drew the assignment to photograph three locals that were ski-kiting at Oologah Lake. Gerald picked me up in Collinsville and took me to the lake where he, Brent Beeson and Kirk Dildine assembled the kite and then Gerald flew around while the photos on this page were taken. |
Ted, My Brother Gerald Dildine passed away this morning at about 2:15 AM at Southcrest Hosp. Please watch for the obit and info to follow. -- Thanks Darla (3/25/2011) |
I received an email from Geralds sister Darla Davis that said he passed away about 2:15 am this morning from complications caused by pneumonia. -- Brenda Emery (3/25/2011) |
