The procession for Officer Wileman traveled from Owasso to Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville including a final trip down Collinsville's Main Street. The procession was more than a mile long with police, fire, family and friends vehicles (along with residents along the route) showing their final respect for the young police officer.

The Honor Guard of the Owasso Police Department is sad to announce the death of Sgt Andy Wileman of the Collinsville Police Department. Sgt Wileman succumbs to his long fight against Cancer in the early morning hours of Saturday, December 17, 2011 at his Owasso home. Andy was in the presence of his loving family, close friends and Officers and Staff of the Collinsville and Owasso Police Department’s during his final moments. Sgt Wileman was an honorable and steadfast Oklahoma Lawman, respected by all those that had the honor to know and love him.

Full Law Enforcement Services for Sgt Wileman will begin at 10:30AM on Wednesday, December 21st, 2011, held at First Baptist Church of Owasso, located at 13307 East 96th Street North, in Owasso, OK. All Law Enforcement Agencies and Officials are invited to attend. Honor Guards are asked to coordinate with Owasso Police Sgt Ken Yount at 918-376-158. Members of the general public are invited to attend to pay respects to a true steward that served his city well.

Following Services; a traditional Police Procession will escort Sgt Wileman and his family from First Baptist in Owasso to Ridgelawn Cemetery
, located at 14476 North 104th East Avenue (Across from the Collinsville High School on Highway 20), Collinsville, OK. For residents of the Collinsville, Owasso or surrounding areas, the procession will take 96th Street North Westbound to North Garnett Road, then Northbound on Garnett through the German Corner area of Northern Owasso and into Collinsville to 146th Street North (Millers Corner), then Westbound through the City of Collinsville to 13th Street, North to Broadway, then West to Ridgelawn Cemetery. Residents are encouraged to line streets, or gather at major parking areas along the way to pay respects and show support to the family of Sgt Wileman. Our hearts go out to Andy’s family and to the Officers and Staff of the Collinsville Police Department and the City of Collinsville. While we have all lost a dear friend, you have lost a true hero….. Larry Andrew “Andy” Wileman II, resident of Owasso, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2011, at his residence. He was 40 years of age. Andy was born on August 16, 1971, in Boise City, Oklahoma, to Larry Andrew and Judith Alleene (Clayton) Wileman. He attended school and later graduated from Tulsa Union in Tulsa, Oklahoma, before going to college at Southwestern Oklahoma State University and Oral Roberts University. Andy excelled at baseball and attended ORU under a baseball scholarship. He eventually followed his love for law enforcement and went to work for the Mounds Police Department in 1997 and the Kiefer Police Department in 1998. Andy was hired by the Tulsa Airport Police in 2002 then finally settled in at the Collinsville Police Department in 2004. Andy served his city well and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2006.
Those that survive and hold many cherished memories are his:

Children: Tyler, Brandon, and Anna all of the home
Parents: Larry and Judith Wileman of Tulsa, Oklahoma
Siblings: Jared Wileman and Courtney Elders
And a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday, December 19, and Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at Mowery Funeral Service. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at First Baptist Church, 13307 East 96th Street North, Owasso, with Reverend Mark Wingfield officiating and the Owasso Fire-Ladder Company 2 and Limestone Fire-Ladder Company 1 providing flag honors. Burial will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Collinsville, with graveside honors provided by the Tulsa Police Honor Guard; the Collinsville Fire Department, Engine Company 1; and the Collinsville Rural Fire Department, Engine Company 1. Serving as casket bearers will be Josh Ray, Daniel Boggs, Shawn Reeves, Ken Yount, Jason McAfferty, Jared Wileman, Tyler Long, and Ron Sutton. Officers and Staff of the Collinsville Police Department will serve as honorary casket bearers. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso. www.moweryfs.com
