Middle School Academic Team 3rd At State Competition

Congratulations to the CMS 7/8th Academic Team! They competed April 9th in OJABA State Competition on the campus of the University of Oklahoma. They placed 3rd in State in their class of 42 teams! I am so proud of the way these students have worked this year and the way they represented our school!

Team members: Nick Stavros, Sheaffer Smith, Spencer Braswell, Faith Sampley, Mallorie Humble, Megan Crabaugh, Clay Beagles and Cannon Vogel, our team captain.

Social Science Graduate
Robin Bushyhead, Circulation Clerk at Collinsville Library, is graduating from St. Gregory’s University College for Working Adults With a Bachelors of Science Degree in Social Science.
Commencement exercises will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at W.P. Wood Fieldhouse, 1900 W. MacArthur St., Shawnee, OK 74804.

"Effort" Character Kids Wilson Elementary students are continuing to learn about the character trait of effort. 1st and 2nd graders were chosen during the 2nd week of April who exhibit effort in their daily lives. -- Lee Ann Due (4/20/2011)
