Two 2004 CHS Duncan Graduates

Hi Ted,
I wanted to take a proud mom moment to let you know about the graduation of my two younger children, Josh Duncan and Catherine (Duncan) Wiles. They graduated high school together in the CHS Class of 2004. They will both be graduating from college on May 7th of this year. Josh will receive a degree in Nursing from Rogers State University. He has accepted a position at St. Francis Hospital in the Neuro ICU unit. Catherine will graduate from East Central University with a degree in Elementary Education, and hopes to find a position in the surrounding area. I am extremely proud of them and would like to thank all of those in Collinsville who have supported them over the years.

Patchworkers Meeting

The Collinsville Patchworkers met April 12, and welcomed guest Eula Gregg. Janice Coke gave a program on pincushions, and demonstrated the uses of a ruler that cuts three triangles at once. Patti Schneider shared the fourth block in this year's Civil War series, and "floral prints" were chosen for the May 10, 2011 "nickle square" exchange.

Collinsville Elementary Cheerleaders: We sent fliers out to the schools a couple of weeks ago. Want to remind everyone of our upcoming cheer meeting.

This is just a reminder to all parents that we are having a Parent meeting for everyone with children going into 1st - 6th grades that are interested in Collinsville Cheerleading. The meeting will be held at the Middle School Gym on April 18th @ 6:30 p.m. There will be some changes this year! We will have a packet available at the meeting with all of the fundraising, uniform, and camp information.
