John Andrew Jackson Jr. (Johnny) passed away Friday Nov 19, 2010 in Collinsville, OK. He was 74 years old and a lifelong resident of Collinsville. Johnny was born in Claremore, Ok on July 15, 1936. The son of John Sr. and Ruby Mae (Stark) Jackson. He graduated from Cheyenne, OK High School in 1954. He then served eight years in the United States Air Force, stationed in Korea, Taiwan, and Texas. He then moved back to Collinsville. He worked many years in downtown Tulsa for Weathers Printing Co. In the 1970's he started working at The Collinsville News and stayed there until the Wright family sold the business in 1987.


He is preceded in death by his mother and father, sister Beverly Foster, and brother Franky Jackson. He is survived by his daughter, Stacy Ruddle of Collinsville, OK, and son Russell Jackson of Collinsville, 2 sisters, Sandy Moore of Owasso, OK and Cynthia Johnson of Tulsa, OK, 1 Brother, Jim Bill Jackson and wife Helen of Owasso, OK. He is also survived by 2 Granddaughters; Brittany Ruddle and Beth Ruddle, both of Collinsville, and 1 grandson, Thomas Jackson of Collinsville.


A Memorial Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2010 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Helmer Johnson officiating.
