Coach Stacy introduced the Girls Cross Country team and presented awards Thursday evening. After chasing Coweta all season for 1st place honors Stacy said he was initially disappointed to come up two points short of winning another state championship, but driving the bus back home, came to realize that his girls had "given everything they had" to close the gap to its closest margin at the state championship. He is "now at peace" and extremely proud of his team's effort and runner-up trophy.

Several ladies from Kohl's not only donated their time to serve the food at the XC banquet but also earned a $500 donation from Kohl's for the Collinsville Cross Country program. Most of the meal was donated by Schwan's.
