Artistic View of Historic Downtown Collinsville
Jonathan Sloan provided this very interesting photo rendition of Historic Downtown Collinsville (with the Newspaper Museum featured). More of Jonathan's photos may be seen at www.SloansPhoto.com or on his blog at http://sloansphoto.blogspot.com/ -- Thank you Jonathan! -- Ted Wright
Spring Weather Swings
Friday's sunny weather near 70 degrees switched rapidly Saturday as a cold front brought in snow and temperatures in the 20s and 30's. Actual snowfall amounts are hard to guess as the warm soil melted much of the snow quickly but saw a few inches in some spots. Temperatures will be warm again this week before anticipated rain showers mid-week. -- Ted 3/22/2010
Slow Progress on CHS 2010 Senior Pages
I'm plugging along on a photo page for each CHS senior with hopes of having them nearly complete for the annual May 1st release. I could still use submitted photos to improve the pages (email to wrightted@aol.com). -- Ted -- (Similar Coverage)

RSU Softball Dates
Changed for This Week

The latest round of winter weather has forced the Rogers State softball team to juggle its schedule this week.

The Hillcats will play on the road Tuesday against Northwestern Oklahoma State and have pushed back their home date with Lubbock Christian from Wednesday to Thursday.

RSU was originally scheduled to host Northwestern on Tuesday afternoon. The Cats will travel to Alva, Okla., instead, and will play a home date against the Lady Rangers in Claremore on April 20.

Lubbock Christian was scheduled to visit the Hillcat Complex on Wednesday at 5 p.m. The doubleheader has been moved back to Thursday afternoon and will start at 2 p.m. The games will be carried live on RSU Radio 91.3 FM.

Rogers State (19-5, 5-1) is currently in fourth place in the Sooner Athletic Conference. The Hillcats have five conference series slated for the next two weeks before hosting the Border War Tournament April 9-10.
