10U USSSA 2010 State Softball Champs

Good Morning Ted ~ I wanted to share some exciting news with you.

My daughter's 10U softball team won the 2010 USSSA STATE TOURNEY this past weekend in Moore, OK. There were 32 teams there. There was some tough competition there. Brittany Kickapoo hit a GRAND SLAM this past weekend as well. Her team will be traveling to Ft. Collins, Colorado this next week to play in the Junior Sparkler. Brittany was selected to play in the All Star Game in Ft. Collins, which will take place June 28th and then the tourney will begin June 29th. I sure hope they play as well as they have been and hope they bring the gold hardware back to Oklahoma. Her team is the only Oklahoma team represented there for her age group.

I am so proud of her and her teammates! Keep up the good work! Love you dearly!
Mom ~ (Roberta Kickapoo )

Main Street Banner For July 4th Events
The grand opening ceremonies for the City Park Improvements, the First Baptist Church's "Homeland Celebration" recognizing veterans, and the normal 4th of July fun and fireworks in the park are noted on a new banner. The banner was installed across Main Street (near 13th) Thursday June 24, 2010. More later on all these activities ... and there should also be a flyer in the next city utility bill mailing. -- Ted
