Had Been Scheduled For Hominy
The Collinsville 9th Grade (in their white "away" uniforms) were ahead 14-6 when I arrived early in the 4th quarter after missing the combined 7-8th game due to a concurrent city meeting. -- Ted
7th & 8th Coaches Comments:
Young Cardinals showing signs of potential

Collinsville 7th & 8th: 34 Hominy Bucks: 52

Thursday’s games were a glimpse into the future as the 7th and 8th grade Cardinals took on the Hominy Bucks. The combined 7th and 8th grade squad fired on all offensive cylinders both on the ground and through the air. Although the final score came out in favor of the Bucks, these local youths gave tremendous effort and lived up to the Code Red Philosophy. Never ceasing to give maximum effort, these young men battled and made both their coaches and their community proud.

Hominy scored two 4th quarter touchdowns for a 14-22 win. They scored one the next play after the photo above with 4 minutes left and (below) with 1:07 left.

Camaron Jutras (#15) made a nice gain in Collinsville's final minute attempt to regain the lead. The 9th grade Cardinals reached Hominy's 20 yard line with 6.3 seconds but the time ran out during two pass attempts.
